Use these header support brackets to support 2"x4" lumber or headers on posts and stakes. The bracket slides over the post or stake. You position the bracket at the right height, then tighten the set screw. Then you nail the header to the bracket using the holes provided in the bracket plate. You can readjust the height of the header by repositioning the bracket on the post or stake.
